The original objective was to bring people together to celebrate the great institution St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital founded by Danny Thomas. The night was filled with shopping, eating, music and fun. The Objective was fulfilled, and Thousands of Dollars was raised for St. Jude. 
Cotier Properties Group Headed by Robert Attyah, a Real Estate Broker Associate under Nationwide Real Estate Executives, and Greg Parker, President, and CEO of Intagent Technologies sponsored the event. Newport Springtime Gift Marketplace showcased several local vendors selling their wares combined with great food from Newport Rib Company, original music by David Landia and our very refreshing specialty drink the Cotier Blast.
The night was also supported by a great real estate team including Jim Thiel of Finance America, Madison Waltrous Freedom Escrow, Kristine Holiday WFG National Title Company, and Zulma Arizmendi Home Guard Home Warranty, Inc. The night was enjoyed under the bright lights of the Newport Beach Community Center. Several Local Newport Beach Restaurants also donated gift certificates for our raffle and door prizes. This yearly event sponsored by Cotier Properties Group benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was truly a success.
St. Jude was founded by entertainer Danny Thomas in 1962, on the premise that “no child should die in the dawn of life.” This idea resulted from a promise that Thomas, a Maronite Catholic, had made to a saint years before the hospital was founded. Thomas was a comedian who was struggling to get a break in his career and living paycheck to paycheck. Thomas believed in the power of prayer. He promised St. Jude Thaddeus that if he made him successful, he would one day build him a shrine. Years later, Thomas became an extremely successful comedian and built St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a shrine to St. Jude Thaddeus to honor his promise.
Robert Attyah, co-founder of Cotier Properties Group, is a Lebanese American who has always supported the great accomplishments and innovative discoveries of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and donates a percentage of every escrow that closes to St. Jude. This Institution, located in Memphis Tennessee, never charges any family for their child’s cancer medical treatment, travel, housing, food or incidentals.
