Stan Frazier, a Sugar Ray ex-member, and bassist Charlie Colin from the band Train, is back in Orange County for a show. These guys are forming a new band called Side Deal with guitarists Joel and Scott Owen making up the PawnShop kings duo. They’re all back to Orange County where they all grew up, with their chart-topping hits from their previous bands like, “Fly,” “Every Morning” and “Someday” from Sugar Ray and “Drops of Jupiter,” “Meet Virginia” and “Calling All Angels” from Train. These songs already made a hole in our hearts, and it brings back memories. I mean who doesn’t miss these songs? It is always great to see homegrown talents performing their hits and their new music with new band members. The other band members also feel deeply connected to this area.
